We're in Metro Detroit. Because we pay the UPS shipping, we focus on the states close enough to keep that cost sensible, and we drive our own truck for large collections in Michigan and next door.

Does Victoria-Nia charge any fees?
No. There are no sign-up, storage, listing or monthly fees. On the revenue-share option we split net sales 50/50 after Amazon fees and shipping; on the buyout option we pay a flat per-book price up front. Either way, you never receive an invoice from us.
Do we have to deliver the books to you?
No. We provide prepaid UPS shipping labels and schedule a UPS pickup at your building, or we come with our own truck for larger collections in Michigan and nearby. Nobody on your staff drives boxes to a UPS store.
What kinds of books do you take?
Non-fiction of every subject and poetry: academic and scholarly works, university press titles, textbooks, art and architecture, history, science, medicine, law, foreign-language and out-of-print titles. We do not take fiction, children's books, magazines or encyclopedias.
How does the 50/50 revenue share work?
We list each book individually on Amazon and other marketplaces, store it, ship it to the buyer and handle customer service. When a book sells, Amazon's fees and shipping come off the sale price and the remaining net is split equally. You receive a monthly statement listing every title sold and a payment.
How is the buyout price set?
A flat rate per book, usually between $1 and $5 depending on the collection, regardless of condition. We quote the rate after seeing your scan results or a sample of the books, and pay in full when the books arrive.
Is there a minimum or maximum collection size?
No. A single faculty office and an entire library project are both welcome; the process is the same, only the number of boxes changes.
Where do you operate?
We are based in Metro Detroit, Michigan, and work with institutions across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky and West Virginia. Larger collections further away are considered case by case.

We give your staff or volunteers a simple barcode-scanning app. They scan the shelves; the app tells them instantly which titles are worth sending. Only those books get boxed and shipped on our labels. Nothing leaves your building that we won't sell.
